The Mother Goose Project: Bedtime Stories
Let the Children's Ensemble of the Central PA Dance Workshop lull you off to sleep with their video retelling of classic Mother Goose rhymes. Snuggle up in your jammies for this unique video presentation that will send you off to dreamland with "Mary Mary, Quite Contrary," "Twinkle Twinkle, Little Star," and more dancing through your head. The Mother Goose Project: Storybook Theatre
Join the Children's Ensemble of the Central PA Dance Workshop as they take children of all ages on a video journey retalling beloved Mother Goose rhymes such as "Mary Had A Little Lamb," "Itsy Bitsy Spider," and more. This unique video presentation brings our dancers straight to you in the comfort of your own home. Fun for all ages, and appropriate for the youngest children. The performance will be followed by a live Q & A discussion with CPDW's Director. Saturday, June 20th, 10:30 am.
Musical Theatre Dance Workshop
Join Central PA Dance Workshop Director Jill A Brighton for a Musical Theatre Dance Workshop. Learn a combination from a Broadway Musical that can help you bolster your musical theatre performance skills or simply experience something new and fun. Appropriate for all ages and skill levels. Classical Ballet Variation Workshop
Come to the Central PA Dance Workshop, virtually, and learn the traditional "Lilac Fairy" variation from the ballet "Sleeping Beauty," originally coreographed by Maurice Petipa. The variation is suitable for intermediate level dancers and up, and may be done either in flat shoes, or en pointe. A short warm up will be given, but participants are encouraged to warm up thoroughly before the class. Sunday, June 21st, 6:00 pm.
