Interested students may volunteer as teaching assistants in both child and adult classes.  Teaching assistants gain valuable experience and expertise as they demonstrate, teach, and work with a variety of students.  Qualified TAs regularly attend their assigned class, working closely with the classroom teacher to develop skills in mentoring and instruction.  On occasion, TAs are called upon to substitute teach when the regular instructor is unavailable. Every class requires a teaching assistant, so there is ample opportunity to gain this worthwhile experience.
